..And the many uses for COCONUT!

And so because I'm diving deep into my new paleo lifestyle, I have discovered that coconut is more than just a delicious flavor or the ying to the yang of pineapple! It has amazing benefits for your WHOLE body!!

I surveyed the internet, my friends AND family, and here's what I came up with!

Here's 25 different ways to use COCONUT!

1) Cooking at High Heat - Some oils are unsafe to cook with at high temperatures, coconut oil is a great alternative.

2) Just eat it! By the SPOONFUL!! It can actually reduce abdominal obesity.

3) Smoothies - Add one tablespoon of coconut oil into your favorite smoothie recipe and increase your energy.

4) Fry Eggs - Coat the bottom of the skillet and go to town!

5) Popcorn Topping - Instead of butter, melt a little coconut oil and pour it over your popped popcorn.

9) Replace Vegetable Oil for Baking!

10) Coconut Oil Coffee - Adding a spoonful to your coffee is a great way to start your day!

11) Shaving Lotion - What a nice way to get a close shave!!

12) Facial Scrub - Mix this with Himalayan salt for a great facial treat!

13) Body Scrub - Combine coconut oil and sugar for a sumptuous body scrub!

14) Makeup Remover - This will also soften your hair and skin!

15) Stretch Mark Preventer During Pregnancy - Apply this daily, multiples times and get glowing, stay soft, and stay SMOOTH!

16) Massage Oil - This has a great texture/consistency for massage oil. Use it as is or you can add fragrance!

17) Body Moisturizer - Apply directly after a bath or shower! Your partner will thank you!

18) Sunburn Care - A great moisturizer to use after you've gotten a bit too much sun.

19) Leave-in Overnight Conditioner - This makes for a great deep conditioning hair treatment! Rub a small amount of oil into hair (mostly at ends), comb through and put hair in a loose bun before bed, and wash out in the morning.

20) Defrizzer of Split Ends - Where there is frizz.. there should be coconut oil!

21) Aromatherapy - Great to use for a wind down sesh!

22) Metabolism Booster - 2 tablespoons per day are proven to rev up your metabolism.

23) Thyroid Supporter - Regular coconut oil consumption has been shown to support healthy thyroid function.

24) Oil Pulling - Swish coconut oil around in your mouth for 10 minutes before brushing.

25) Sexual LUBE! - Yeah! I said it!!
